Better materials for a brighter tomorrow

At Fiberpartner, we work to reduce environmental impact, ensure responsible sourcing and create value through innovative fiber solutions. Our approach is built on transparency, collaboration and compliance.

Responsibility throughout the value chain

At Fiberpartner, responsibility starts with understanding the materials we source, the supply chains behind them and the requirements that apply.

We work with recycled and alternative fiber solutions, supplier requirements, traceability and documentation, while continuously developing our sourcing practices and knowledge.

Our Responsibility Strategy is structured around five focus areas: Supply Chain Optimisation, Climate, Environment, Research & Development, and Governance.

Supply Chain Optimisation

We work to strengthen transparency and traceability across our supply chain and to better understand the production units behind the materials we source.

Our approach includes clear supplier requirements, due diligence and the ongoing assessment of environmental, social and governance-related factors. We are gradually expanding our supplier due diligence process and working to improve our insight further upstream in the supply chain.

This helps us identify relevant risks, improve documentation and support more informed sourcing decisions.

Climate

We continue to develop our understanding of greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and value chain.

Following the establishment of our first baseline for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions in 2024, we are working to expand our emissions mapping to relevant Scope 3 emissions associated with our value chain, including raw materials, fiber production, transportation and waste.

We are also developing our approach to product-level data to improve our understanding of the climate impact associated with the fiber solutions we source.

Environment

We work to improve our understanding of the environmental aspects associated with the fibers we source and the supply chains behind them.

Our work includes relevant chemical requirements and standards, waste and wastewater practices, and collaboration with suppliers to improve documentation and transparency.

We also follow developments related to microplastic release from synthetic textiles and the evolving requirements and research within this area.

Research & Development

Research and development is an important part of how we explore new fiber solutions and respond to changing market and application requirements.

Since establishing our dedicated R&D function in 2024, we have continued to develop and evaluate fiber solutions, materials and technologies in close collaboration with suppliers, customers and other partners.

Our work combines technical knowledge, testing and documentation to support the development and evaluation of new fiber solutions.

Partnership & Knowledge Sharing

Collaboration and knowledge sharing are important parts of how we work at Fiberpartner.

We work closely with suppliers, customers and other partners across the value chain to exchange knowledge, understand requirements and explore new materials and fiber solutions.

By sharing insights and combining expertise, we aim to support informed decisions and strengthen knowledge across the value chain.

Our Governance

At Fiberpartner, responsible business conduct is supported by clear policies, procedures and expectations for how we work.

Our Code of Conduct sets out the principles and requirements that apply to our employees and relevant business relationships, covering areas such as business ethics, labour rights, health and safety, and environmental responsibility.

Together with our policies and procedures, it provides a framework for responsible conduct and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Our Code of Conduct and relevant policies are available upon request. Please contact us for further information.

A Code of Conduct should be more than a document

For us, responsible sourcing starts with clear expectations.

Fiberpartner’s Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the environmental, social and governance standards we expect from the production units we work with.

From responsible handling of materials and chemicals to human rights, working conditions, health and safety, business ethics, transparency and traceability.

But having requirements on paper is not enough.

The real value comes when they become part of how we we assess and work with suppliers.

Why does that matter to our customers?

Because when you source a material through Fiberpartner, our responsibility does not stop with finding the right specification and price.

We also work to understand the supply chain behind it.

That gives us – and ultimately our customers – a stronger foundation for responsible sourcing decisions.

Good partnerships start with clear expectations.

Behind the fiber

Behind every material, there are people.

When ESG and responsible sourcing are discussed, the conversation often starts with materials, recycling and environmental impact.

But responsible business is also about the people throughout the value chain.

That is why Fiberpartner’s Supplier Code of Conduct includes clear expectations regarding human rights, fair working conditions, non-discrimination, health and safety, and the prevention of forced and child labour.

These principles are part of how we expect our production partners to operate – just as respect, responsibility and ethical behaviour are expectations within our own organisation.

Why is this relevant to our customers?

Because responsible sourcing is about more than knowing what a material is made from.

It is also about paying attention to the conditions behind it.

We believe both belong in the conversation.

Know how to navigate

Your supply chain is becoming more complex. Our job is to help make it easier to navigate.

New requirements. More documentation. Greater expectations for traceability. New material options. And increasing attention to what happens further upstream in the supply chain.

Responsible sourcing is becoming a bigger task for many companies.

And you should not have to navigate all of it alone.

At Fiberpartner, we work between material producers and customers every day.

That gives us a role that goes beyond supplying fibers and raw materials.

We ask questions.

We work with documentation.

We follow developments in materials and regulation.

We engage with our production partners.

And we use that knowledge to help our customers make informed sourcing decisions.

For us, that is where ESG and partnership meet.

Not in making sustainability simple.

But in making complexity easier to navigate.
